Welcome to Dominica, located in the Caribbean Sea this is one of the best spots in the world to encounter their resident Sperm Whales.

Join us on this Ocean Safari where we spend 4 days at sea swimming with Sperm Whales and any other Pelagics we may encounter along the way.

There are only a couple places in the world where you can swim with these amazing whales. Dominica in the Caribbean is one of the best and to keep it that way the government has a strict permitting process.

We at Seacraved, can obtained one of these highly sought after permits to take guests to swim with them.

No Scuba certification needed.

We chartered a boat just for us, and we'll get 8 hours a day to find and swim with these gentle giants.

Given the population in Dominica is year round, we predict a high likelihood of frequent encounters.

Those times when we're not seeing them, there are plenty of other mammals to keep us occupied, here's just a few that are commonly seen:

  • False killer whales

  • Spinner, bottlenose,  and spotted Dolphins

  • Pilot whales

Remember though, nothing is guaranteed, and they are wild animals, it’s up to them if they are around.

The dramatic mountains you can traverse on land across Dominica are mirrored in the topography of our underwater dive sites. Cliff faces plunge into the Caribbean Sea and descend straight down 1500 feet, pinnacles rise up from the surrounding depths almost to the surface and volcanic ridges slope off into the deep blue water.

Day 1: Arrive in Dominica and be transferred to our hotel in Roseau.

Day 2- 4: Breakfast then head out to swim with Sperm Whales and anything else we see!

Day 5: Transfer back to Airport for your flights home.

Included:

Experience Level

There is no SCUBA on these expeditions, so all you need is the ability to swim with mask, snorkel and fins.
